James Hope University (JHU) Business School Fees

The James Hope University (JHU) Business School schedule of fees for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. This guide provides a detailed breakdown of the tuition, application fees, billing schedule, and other financial information for both new and returning students. Understanding these details will ensure you’re well-prepared for the upcoming academic year.

Application Fee NGN 5,000
Acceptance Fee 5% of Total Tuition (non-refundable)
‍ Programme Fees Varies from NGN 2.25M to NGN 9M for MBA/Executive MBA
Accommodation Arrangements available, contact Registrar’s office
Semester Billing September 30, 2024 & January 31, 2025 deadlines
Late Fees NGN 25,000 penalty for delayed payments

    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 562,500
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 2,250,000
  • M.Sc. Employment Relations and Human Resource Management:
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 562,500
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 2,250,000
  • M.Sc. Finance:
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 625,000
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 2,500,000
  • M.Sc. Fintech and Analytics:
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 875,000
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 3,500,000
  • M.Sc. Innovation, Intrapreneurship, and Entrepreneurship:
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 875,000
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 3,500,000
  • Full-time MBA:
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 1,250,000
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 5,000,000
  • Executive MBA (Begins January 2025):
    • Per-Semester Rate: NGN 2,250,000
    • Total Programme Cost: NGN 9,000,000

Note: All tuition fees are subject to annual increases from the 2025/2026 academic session.

Billing Schedule

  • First Semester: Payment due by Monday, September 30, 2024
  • Second Semester: Payment due by Friday, January 31, 2025

Students who pay the full programme rate before the end of the first month of classes are exempt from future tuition increases but are responsible for any additional fees.

Tuition Refund Schedule for 2024/2025

  • End of the Second Friday: 100% Refund
  • End of the Fourth Friday: 80% Refund
  • End of the Fifth Friday: 60% Refund
  • End of the Sixth Friday: 30% Refund

Additional Information

  • Fees Subject to Change: Programme fees are subject to annual review and may change.
  • Acceptance Deposit: All admitted students must pay a non-refundable deposit to secure their spot.
  • Travel and Accommodation: Students are responsible for their travel and accommodation costs. Negotiated and discounted rates are available for short-stay apartments and hotels in Lekki, with details provided by the Registrar’s Office.
  • Withdrawal and Refund Schedule: Students must notify the Registrar’s Office in writing if they plan to withdraw. Failure to formally withdraw can result in loss of financial adjustment or refund.
  • Late Payments: Students who miss payment deadlines will be charged a late fee of NGN 25,000 and barred from registering or graduating until the balance is paid.

Ensure timely payment and follow up with the Registrar (registrar@jhu.edu.ng) if you have financial concerns, so you’re not barred from accessing academic services.
